Here we go…
it’s all or nothing. It’s always all or nothing!
I’m trying to be up all night tonight revising for my first exam tomorrow. I haven’t had a second to spare in this last month and every time I put the kids to sleep and sit down to start revision I fall the fuck asleep or one of the little’uns wakes up!
This has happened EVERY NIGHT for the past two weeks! No caffeine can fix it either. It’s hard when you know you want something so bad and you want to do your best, but your body betrays you. Damn! is it because I’m 28 now? Early mornings don’t work as my movements wake up the household from 5am onwards and daytime reading doesn’t either at the moment, believe me I’ve tried.
I’m feeling pretty stress-free for some reason even though I’m teetering on the edge of my impending doom. The weekend was filled with swimming with the kids, fun, sun and realizations. Dan’s out there having a blast on the West coast at the moment and I’m off to Barcelona at the end of June. I’ve just got to get through these exams in one piece. I’ll try my best no matter what the situation and at least I can walk out of there feeling OK.
So if you’re a friend and you’re reading this, channel me some PMA please!
